THE SHOW

ReaperCast is a podcast devoted to the CW show, Reaper. It is run by two guys who recently graduated from college, have superb taste in television and are pretty hilarious. One of those guys, Jerad, was inspired to create his own podcast after listening to one of the best podcasts on the Web, Starkville's House of El or S.H.o.E. for short. When Jerad saw S.H.o.E. featured on the Smallville Season 6 DVD set, he knew what he had to do.
He immediately got off the couch and went to the store to purchase a book on podcasting and a suitable recording software. He finally settled on Podcasting for Dummies and Podcast Station, but decided he needed a co-host before he could take the Web by storm.
He figured Casey, whom he has known since second grade, could sit and talk about T.V. with him, since that's what they do anyway. Casey agreed and the stage was set.
Jerad and Casey's first foray into the podcasting world was known as The Back 40: The show where almost anything goes. The boys rambled on about several shows such as Smallville and Scrubs for an astounding 22 episodes before they finally realized no one was listening and decided to put The Back 40 out to pasture.
Jerad and Casey were not ready to let their podcasting dreams die quite yet, however. Toward the end of The Back 40's not-so magical run, the CW aired the pilot of a new show called Reaper. Both Jerad and Casey liked the show from the first episode and soon decided it would be better for them- and anyone who might actually listen- if they recorded a podcast on one show instead of four.
The guys picked Reaper, and ReaperCast was born. Since starting the show the guys have discovered that at least a few people do indeed listen, and that simple fact fills their hearts with joy. Jerad and Casey have met some great people in the Reaper fan community, and they enjoy reading the comments and opinions of everyone who gives their valuable time to listen. The opinions of listeners are the lifeblood of the podcast, and the it would have ended long ago if not for you, the listener. Jerad and Casey would like to thank everyone who listens or has ever listened to the podcast and encourage all our listeners to e-mail or comment on the blog (even if you've never e-mailed or commented before) and let the guys hear from you.
